Step 1: Explore Our Philosophy
Begin by reviewing our website to ensure that our play‑based, place‑based, fully outdoor learning environment is the right fit for your family. This step helps you understand our approach and determine whether Blackberry Academy aligns with your values and your child’s needs.
Step 2: Submit a contact from & schedule a Meet‑and‑Greet Call with our founder and Program Director
Once you feel aligned with our philosophy, complete the contact form at the bottom of this page. We will reach out to schedule a Meet‑and‑Greet. This 20-30min phone call with our founder and program director Yessie allows us to connect, answer questions, and learn more about your child.
Step 3: Attend a School Tour
After your call, you’ll be invited to join us for a school tour or free intro session depending on the programs you are interested in. You and your child are welcome to tag along during our school day to see our program in action and get a feel for our outdoor learning environment.
Step 4: Submit Your Enrollment Application
After your tour you will receive an enrollment application link. If what you learned in your meet & greet tour feels like a good fit, you may then submit your enrollment application for review.
Step 5: Application review
After reviewing your application, we will send an enrollment invitation to families whose needs and values align with our program. At this point you will either be accepted to join our school or will be added to the waitlist and notified when space becomes available.
Step 6: Secure Your Spot
To accept your invitation, you will pay the non‑refundable enrollment fee, complete your enrollment paperwork, and review the Parent Handbook.
