In the spring and summer months we require closed toe shoes that provide ankle support.
Layering serves three purposes: retaining heat, wicking away moisture, and shielding against rain, snow, and wind. Keep layers consistent in size, unless outer layers are slim-cut or performance-oriented, allowing for extra comfort. Feel free to mix different base layers—wool, fleece, or high-tech poly—since they all contribute to warmth. Just avoid cotton.
